Back in my senior high school days, it was really fun and if I could remember well, I think there were eight sections all in all in our batch. Each section was allowed by the school to create a nickname, picture or symbol and corresponding colors, sort of like a banner, that would signify each section for the rest of the senior year. For us, who were in section two, we chose the name Cevars, we had a knight to represent our class and we had red and white colors to decorate our high school letterman jacket, bags and the like.

Unfortunately, my Cevars high school letterman jacket is nowhere to be found since we moved to our new place and I was saddened to have lost a memorabilia from my senior days. I could still remember that time that all forty of us went to the tailor to get our fittings for our team jacket and it was really funny because the tailor was so exhausted after we were all done.

As every one of us, received our jackets, we were wearing them like crazy and everyone had one with eight different kinds of colors everywhere you looked, it was considered as teens fashion must-have. Wearing those jackets everyday tend to get them dirty quite easily, fortunately, our high school jackets were made of vinyl and was safe to be washed in a washing machine. Before we throw it in the washer though, we usually turn it inside out then use cold water to wash it and to dry; we just hang it so you can’t use a dryer as it can damage the jacket. After that, it’s good as new although there are some jackets that have leather sleeves which should be taken to the cleaners to be safe and always read the labels to be sure.

Items like your letterman jacket can help you reminisce those fun days back when you were still in school and you can prolong its usage with the proper knowledge on how to clean them. It is quite easy to clean your letterman jacket and if you aren’t sure, there is always the Internet to check on how to do it.
